At last - we have just heard that the final site permissions have been given and we have the go-ahead to conduct the final leg of the study at an NHS hospital. It has been a truly epic exercise in paperwork endurance. Getting the last lot of data together will put the final pieces of our jigsaw together and we will have a firm foundation on which to build our next piece of reflexology science.
In the meantime I thought you might like to see some photos – some are of the lymphoedema ladies and some are the research team. Team picture: In the back row left to right-me (Judith Whatley – Lymphoedema project co-ordinator and senior lecturer in reflexology); Virginia Harding (Research reflexologist); Sally Kay (RLD pioneer and lead research reflexologist); Front row: Rachael Street (Research assistant and data collector) and Elaine Allison (research reflexologist).
